TDS is 1 year old. Thank you!

Thank you TDSI do not know what the future holds for Tour de Shore, I may not be able to update this site anymore. Once I get official word on that I will let you know. For now I hope you help me out as I transition over to NJRunners, the retiring Managing Editor Pat Montferrat will be updating results on the milesplit site and helping me along as I settle in there (MAJOR thanks to him). I plan to leave this site up for reference at least if it is shut down.

Thanks also to all the people who helped me run this site, the photographers and videographers at the meets were a big help and great volunteers.

2012 Bishop Loughlin Games

Robert Kellert - 2012_12_16 - Loughlin Games

Opening meet of the season for the Shore Conference took place yesterday thanks to Bishop Loughlin. CBA break’n hearts and records as usual, Chris Marco of Toms River South picks up where he left off.

The CBA boys night can be highlighted by the screen shot of their tweets below. In the 300m dash we welcome back Zack McDermott running a fast opening time of 35.68 for 7th place. In the 600m run teammate Clark Mangini posts a 1:22.2h for 5th place and a Shore Conference record!

In the one mile run Chris Marco of Toms River South picks up where he left off last track season winning the race in 4:21.64, qualifying him to run in the Millrose Games. Marco, who has decided to take his talents to Notre Dame next fall, will be looking to have a dominant jaw dropping senior year in the 800 and 1600 this year.

In the Triple Jump finals Jamal Bunum takes first with a 46-10 mark, his teammate CJ Clarke finishes 4th with a 44-0.25 mark.

For the girls Jackson Liberty takes 6th in the sophomore 1600m Medley Relay, the lady lions would also have a place in the shot put, in 7th place Jordan Serebnick would toss a 34-03 to place in the finals.

THE BUBBLE LIVES!

(NOTE: Picture was taken at last year’s 2012 Meet of Champs, this is not a current photo!)

According to a report from Jim Lambert, article here, the bubble is not ready to host meets in early or mid December but will be ready for January. They do plan to host a season opener on December 29th. Check the NJ.com article. Thank goodness.
